Seed&Spark Campaign Launches to Fund Completion of Heartfelt Film "Juliette’s Miracle on St. Nick"

Juliette’s Miracle on St. Nick follows the journey of Juliette, an elderly woman grappling with her mortality in hospice. As she reflects on her life, Juliette receives a visit from an unlikely visitor—Mr. Cat, a mystical feline who offers her the chance to relive one magical night from her youth.

Through this surreal and enchanting experience, Juliette is transported back to the vibrant jazz era of Harlem, where she rediscovers her love of dance and reconnects with cherished memories of her past. Juliette navigates a bustling club and revisits her beloved garden, where she encounters Mudear, a wise elder who helps her reflect on life, family, and the importance of the moments that shape us.

Inspired by the personal experiences of writer and director Antwand Pearman, Juliette’s Miracle on St. Nick is based on his grandmother’s life. Currently residing in a nursing home, Pearman’s grandmother serves as the emotional core of this poignant tale about life, love, and the legacies we leave behind.

“This film is a love letter to my grandmother and the powerful connections we share with those we hold dear, even in life’s final moments,” said Pearman. “Through Juliette’s story, we want to explore the universal themes of family, memory, and the moments that stay with us forever.”
